Delete your account
Applies to the KiddieCommute parent and driver apps
You can permanently delete your KiddieCommute account and associated data at any time, directly from the app. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Delete in the app
- Open the KiddieCommute app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab (the “You” tab in the driver app).
- Scroll to settings and tap Delete account.
- Review what will be removed, then tap Delete my account and confirm.
Prefer not to delete everything? You can simply log out instead - your data stays safe and you can sign back in anytime.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove your personal data, including:
- Parents: your profile, your children’s profiles, ride history, ride credits, invoices, saved contacts and trusted-circle invites.
- Drivers: your profile, compliance documents, earnings and payout history, and run/trip history.
- Your account and login are removed, and you’ll be signed out on your device.
What we may retain
We may retain limited records where required by law or for legitimate business needs - for example, transaction records needed for accounting/tax, or anonymized data that no longer identifies you. Any retained records are kept only as long as necessary and are not used to re-create your account.
Can’t access the app?
If you’re unable to sign in to delete your account yourself, email privacy@ridekc.co from the email or with the phone number on your account and ask us to delete it. We’ll verify your request and remove your account and data.
